About Me
Barely Holding On was built for the people who keep showing up long after they’re running on empty.
The firefighters.
The paramedics.
The ER nurses.
The dads trying to hold everything together.
The ones carrying more than they talk about.
This brand was started by firefighter paramedics and emergency room nurses who know exactly what burnout looks like—because we live in it too.
Long shifts.
Dark humor.
Caffeine instead of sleep.
Stress that follows you home.
The culture of acting fine even when you’re barely keeping it together.
We know what it feels like to walk into work exhausted and still be expected to perform.
To compartmentalize things you probably shouldn’t.
To joke about it because that’s easier than explaining it.
Barely Holding On isn’t about motivation.
It’s about the people who continue anyway.
The ones who stay calm in chaos while quietly falling apart in the background.
The ones who don’t get the luxury of checking out because people depend on them.
No fake positivity.
No “rise and grind.”
No pretending balance exists.
Just dark humor, good gear, and a brand for the people still functioning on low battery and obligation.
This is for the burned out.
The overworked.
The emotionally out-of-service.
Still here.
Still showing up.
Barely holding on.
